The PASSHE Conflict of Interest Policy requires disclosure of activities, financial arrangements, and income that potentially conflict with the objective conduct of research or give the appearance of creating a conflict.

Anyone applying for an external grant or cooperative agreement must comply with the PASSHE FCOI policy.

Research Integrity

West Chester University of Pennsylvania (WCU) is responsible for promoting academic practices that prevent misconduct and for developing policies and procedures for dealing with allegations of misconduct.

Export Control

Export Control Laws are federal laws and regulations that restrict the transfer of certain materials (including university owned laptops), technology, related technical data and certain services outside the United States in the interest of protecting the national security and domestic economy. These laws have been in existence for many years. Every University faculty member, researcher, department head, dean and administrator should have a fundamental understanding and general awareness of Export Control Laws to know when to raise questions and alert responsible officials to a possible export control or embargo issue. If you are planning international travel, please follow the Export Control Decision Tree to determine if Export Control Regulations apply to your proposed travel. The Center for International Programs at West Chester University provides oversight for all international travel. Visit the export control page of the Center for International Programs for the required travel forms.
