Mission

The Student Experience team fosters connection, belonging, and engagement by supporting students and families through co-curricular experiential learning. We are committed to: 

• Empowering off-campus and commuter students with mentorship, programming, and resources that enrich their campus experience and strengthen their sense of belonging, regardless of place of residence.
• Partnering with families through timely communication and meaningful engagement that deepen their connection to WCU and enhance student retention, persistence, and success.
• Designing co-curricular learning pathways that immerse students in the golden ram experience and promote holistic development through a curricular approach.
• Creating impactful service experiences that connect students with their communities and inspire a commitment to giving back and contributing to the common good. 

Vision

Through collaboration and community, the Student Experience team aspires to cultivate an environment where students and families experience sincere connection, belonging, and engagement because of their experiences at West Chester University and to be a nationally recognized leader in the field of co-curricular experiential learning.
