Bio

This role combines my passion for honors education and my belief in the power of ideas to make a positive difference in the world. I have seen firsthand the many ways in which honors transforms the undergraduate experience and prepares students for life after graduation.

I have a Ph.D. and M.A. in philosophy from Villanova University and a B.A. Honors in philosophy from the College of the Holy Cross. My research and teaching interests include the history of philosophy, environmental ethics, and biomedical ethics. My work also emphasizes best practices in honors education, especially creative high-impact learning experiences, international travel, and building a culture of academic excellence.
