Submitting a Disposition - Level 1

Note: Chair refers to the home Department Chairperson of the candidate's primary academic plan.

In Tk20 Faculty click submit for each candidate.

*The rating of "Acceptable" is the default selection for each area. Complete near the end of the course.*

Tk20 Course?

Faculty conference with the candidate and complete sections one and two of the Professional Dispositions - Concern Form (PDF fillable form) (signatures required). A copy of the form must be given to the candidate.

*Faculty retrieve the form online. Mentor teachers should contact the candidate's university faculty supervisor if they have a dispositional concern and the university faculty supervisor will file the concern.*

Faculty scans and uploads the form into the Tk20 Professional Dispositions and Requirements Form. They must indicate the level of concern (remain at Level 1 or elevate to Level 2 for a Department review).

*If a faculty member needs to submit a dispositional concern on the same candidate in the same course after submission of the first concern, then they will email CESWAssessment@wcupa.edu requesting another form. Once access is granted, they will follow the same process.*

Educator Preparation Program (EPP) Faculty:

Conference with the candidate and complete section two. All conference attendees must sign the form. A copy of the form must be given to the candidate.

Non-EPP Faculty & University Staff:

Email the form to CESWAssessment@wcupa.edu. The form will be sent to Chair or Program Coordinator. Next, the Chair or Program Coordinator, and, if appropriate, the Non-EPP Faculty or University staff member conference with the candidate and complete section two. All conference attendees must sign the form. A copy of the form must be given to the candidate.

The Department Chair or Program Coordinator scans and uploads the Professional Dispositions – Concern Form into the Tk20 Professional Dispositions and Requirements Form. They must indicate the level of concern (remain at Level 1 or elevate to Level 2 for a Department review).

*Within the Tk20 form it is important to complete all of the appropriate fields for reporting purposes (e.g., demographic information)*
