Jason Wozniak holds a PhD in Philosophy and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. In the past, he taught as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Teachers College, Columbia University.
Currently, Jason teaches graduate courses focused on higher education philosphy and history for t he department of Educational Foundations and Policy Studies at West Chester University. His research focuses on critical theory analyses of financial debt and education theory and practice.
Jason has published widely in both North and South America. He is completing his first book, provisionally titled, The Mis-Education of the Indebted Student. In addition, Jason is the founder and Co-Director of The Latin American Philosophy of Education Society (LAPES.org). For the past two years, Jason has been one of the lead researchers on Hacer Escuela/Inventing School: Rethinking the Pedagogy of Critical Theory, a sub-project of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Grant: Critical Theory in the Global South.
