Existing International Partnerships

It is important to note that WCU partners with a wide array of international and globally themed institutions, organizations and agencies. These partnerships are a critical foundation of how WCU connects internationally. International partnerships are generally focused on, but are not limited to, the following:

• Student exchange (via study abroad)
• Faculty exchange, mobility, and research
• International student recruitment
• Faculty led education abroad programming

Overall, international partnerships such as those noted below help facilitate internationalization at WCU.

Partner Higher Education Institutions

The map and list below highlight only the active higher education institutional partnerships with formal agreements (Memorandum of Agreements) that focus either on student exchange/education abroad, international student recruitment, and research or other program development (conferences, professional development). Please note that many faculty have additional international teaching, research, and service partners (institutions, faculty, and organizations). Some existing partnerships are not active and are in a process of assessment and review to determine sustainability.
