CELT Book Club

Each semester, the Committee for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) selects one book related to teaching and learning and hosts a monthly book club. Each meeting lasts for one hour and provides faculty participants the opportunity to discuss the book with colleagues.

This fall semester, CELT is reading José Antonio Bowen and C. Edward Watson’s Teaching with AI: A Practical Guide to a New Era of Human Learning (2024). To participate and receive a complimentary copy of the book, you must commit to attending two meetings throughout the semester: one in October and one in November.

Book club will meet on Zoom twice during the semester:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 2:00 PM or Thursday, Oct. 3 at 11:00 AM
  • Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 2:00 PM or Thursday, Nov. 14 11:00 AM

If you are interested in participating this semester, please complete the book club registration form. Space is limited.

If you have any questions, please contact Book Club Co-Facilitators

Dara Dirhan

or

Sandy Sarcona.
