Academic Success Program
Our five-week 'summer-start' Academic Success Program (ASP) is designed to help you get a head start on college through a specific orientation and academic coursework along with support services including tutoring, academic advising, mentoring, activities and events.

In-person on West Chester University’s Campus*
*ALL ASP students are required to live on campus during the summer

ASP REQUIREMENTS
- Acceptance into the Academic Success Program (ASP)
- Complete the Placement Assessment to determine appropriate course placement
- Participation in the Summer ASP and academic success
ASP PLACEMENT ASSESSMENTS
Placement Assessments include math, english and reading testing. Placement Assessments help us determine an appropriate course placement for you. Summer ASP Placement Assessments will occur in-person this year.
Assessments take approximately 2 hours to complete.
