The West Chester University Computer Science Department, within the College of Sciences & Mathematics, provides access, through education and state-of-the-art technology, to the ever-growing professional opportunities available in the fields of Computer Science.
The Department offers both a baccalaureate degree and a graduate degree in Computer Science, as well as a certificate in Computer Security. We also offer other undergraduate minors and certificates at the graduate level.
The B.S. in Computer Science Program is accredited by ABET. The Department is also designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (CAE-CDE) by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
The Department is a member of Pennsylvania Association of Computer & Information Science Educators (PACISE).
