On Service:
- There’s so many great ways and opportunities to get involved, no matter what it is
you want to teach or what you want to do! I always think the most important thing
is to find an organization that’s going to be the best fit for you and where one can
apply themselves completely to whatever tasks are in front of them, make the most
impact you possibly can and help whoever you’re trying to work with to the best of
your ability.
On Teacher Ed:
- There are so many fantastic opportunities available to teacher education majors at
WCU! From service and volunteer opportunities, fields, observations, student teaching,
to different student organizations, alternative spring break programs, and international
travel and other conference opportunities, there’s something for everyone. I think
the most important thing is to be as intentional and make the most of each opportunity
that you can!
