Nutrition Department Overview
The mission of the Department of Nutrition in the College of Health Sciences at West Chester University is to shape tomorrow’s nutrition and dietetics professionals and leaders through quality, relevant, and innovative teaching, service, and scholarship. The Nutrition Department offers degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The degree and curriculum offer a wide variety of rewarding career opportunities including clinical dietetics, community/public health nutrition, sports nutrition, wellness, foodservice management, and more.

WCU Dietetic Internship
The WCU Distance Dietetic Internship is a graduate or post-master’s-level, supervised practice program, which prepares students to become a RDN.
WCU Dietetic Internship (DI)
The West Chester University Didactic program in Dietetics (DPD) and Dietetic Internship (DI) are currently granted accreditation with the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
