INTRODUCTION TO ONEDRIVE
Wednesday, March 21 - 2:30pm to 3:30pm or Thursday, April 12, 2018 2:30pm to 3:30pm

In this workshop, we will be working with One Drive, a cloud based file storage system with online editing and collaboration tools for Microsoft Office documents and a part of Office 365. We will explore the many ways to use One Drive including a simple storage space for documents, to access files from any location on any device, or as a collaboration tool to share and jointly work on documents. Different ways to access files via a web browser, directly from Office 2016 desktop programs, in Windows File Explorer, in the Office Apps for iPad, iPhone and Android tablet or synchronized with a local folder on your computer will also be discussed. BASIC TIPS & TRICKS IN POWERPOINT 2016

How do I do that? What is the shortcut for that?
In this workshop, improve your productivity and efficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with some useful tips on some of the more used and overlooked features in PowerPoint. We will be sharpening those basic PowerPoint skills and answering those burning questions that everyone has: How do I do that? Where is that tool? Bring your frequent questions to this class and we can answer them together. Prerequisite: Prior to attending this workshop, it is highly recommended that you login to lynda.wcupa.edu and view the LyndaCampus Learning PowerPoint video tutorial. CREATING & USING GROUPS IN D2L
Tuesday, March 20, 2018 – 11:00am to 12:00pm

You can create groups to allow students to work and collaborate on projects and assignments, create journals in discussion boards, or to create work areas for students with different learning needs. In this workshop you will learn how to create groups, enroll students in groups and apply group restrictions to assignment folders, discussion boards and online rooms. [link to register]
D2L QUIZZES & EXAMS
Thursday, March 22, 2018 – 9am to 10:30am or Tuesday, April 10, 2018 2pm to 3:30pm
Location: Peoples Room 40
This session will provide directions and practice in creating and managing online Quizzes and Exams. Features of D2L Quizzes and Exams include: automatic grading, setting time limits and date restrictions, and report generation. In addition, Respondus, a windows-based software program which allows you to import word documents into D2L exams and quizzes, will be demonstrated. [link to register]
D2L WEBINAR: D2l DAYLIGHT: WHAT D2L’S NEW THEME MEANS TO YOU (see attachment)

Location: Virtual
This session will introduce the faculty and staff to the new D2L Daylight interface. Participants will be able to see the visual changes first hand and discuss any possible impact on current course content and online instruction. After the session, each participant will gain sneak peek access to explore the new D2L Daylight look and feel on their own. System Requirements: Access to a computer (online room functionality is limited via tablets and phones). Prior to the start of the webinar, you will receive an email from D2L Services which will contain a link to access the online room. [link to register]

WHAT’S NEW IN THE LIBRARY DISCOVER SEARCH SYSTEM

In the Summer of 2017 the library moved to a new library discovery search system. Campus users may have noticed the difference and many changes on both the library website and the main library search. Would you like to learn more about these changes and the new library discovery search?
