Are you a student who is interested in joining our research team?
The lab strongly values having a diverse and inclusive team and Dr. Grassetti is particularly invested in mentoring students who identify as belonging to groups that are underrepresented in Psychology.
- West Chester Undergraduate and Master students are expected to make a two semester commitment to work in the lab (although sometimes exceptions will be considered). Typically, students enroll in PSY410, PSY510, PSY600, or PSY610 while working in the lab. Interested students are encouraged to contact Dr. Grassetti (SGrassetti@wcupa.edu) to inquire about openings in the lab.
- West Chester PsyD students are accepted to work under Dr. Grassetti's mentorship for the duration of their time in the PsyD program. Dr. Grassetti plans to accept a doctoral student who will begin training in the upcoming fall. Prospective students may learn more about the APA-accredited clinical PsyD program on the clinical PsyD program website and may apply through the graduate school. Dr. Grassetti welcomes prospective PsyD students to contact her with any questions about the lab, but is typically not able to individually meet with prospective students ahead of interview day.
Are you a community partner who is interested in partnering with us?
Nearly all of our projects involve partnerships with community collaborators. We are typically hired to evaluate programs, to provide consultation, and to provide clinical services. We are invested in serving communities with complex needs. Sometimes we write grants along with our community partners to fund our work. Please contact Dr. Grassetti (SGrassetti@wcupa.edu)to inquire about opportunities to collaborate.
