Research Interests

Based on a long career as a Certified School Psychologist in an elementary school and a therapist and assessor in private practice, I provide clinical supervision in West Chester University’s Community Mental Health Services Clinic. Meeting individually with PsyD students, I support the development of psychotherapy and assessment skills as they relate to children, adolescents, and young adults. I am interested in instilling best practices in the delivery of psychoeducational evaluations to clarify neurodiverse profiles and diagnose learning disabilities, ADHD, and other developmental or psychological conditions when appropriate. I utilize a CBT approach in my work as a child/adolescent therapist and supervisor, integrating other techniques as required to address emotional, social, and behavioral needs of youth in our community and local schools.
