Orchestra Concert
Before many of our concerts, there will be an Instrument Petting Zoo! Come to the Academic Quad early to meet the instruments you’ll be listening to. To prepare for the concert, you can review pictures of the orchestra’s instruments below.
Note: Attendees will not be able to touch all of the instruments. Please look for signs by the instruments to know which you are allowed to touch.

Based on the life of Louisa May Alcott, Little Women, The Broadway Musical tells the heartfelt story of the March sisters—Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy—as they grow up together during the time of the Civil War. With dreams of becoming a writer, Jo struggles to get her stories published. Encouraged by her friend, Professor Bhaer, to write from the heart, Jo crafts a touching tale inspired by the lives, laughter, and challenges she shares with her sisters. A timeless coming-of-age story filled with warmth, courage, and family bonds—perfect for audiences of all ages.

West Chester University’s Department of Theatre & Dance invites audiences of all ages to experience the zany, magical, and heartwarming world of Louis Sachar’s Sideways Stories from Wayside School, October 16–19, 2025. Adapted for the stage by John Olive and directed by Associate Director of Theatre John Bellomo, the production brings the beloved children’s classic to life in the Madeleine Wing Adler Theatre, Swope Music Building & Performing Arts Center, 817 S. High Street, West Chester.
