Youth Events during the school year:
Multigenerational Writing Day - for kids in grades 1-5
Saturday, September 6th from 9am - noon
Horror/Sci-Fi Writing Workshop - for middle school and high school students
Saturday, October 25th
We will engage in themed activities for writing in the horror/sci-fi genre. Middle schoolers will attend from 10am - noon and high schoolers will attend from 1 - 3pm.
Romance/Friendship Writing Workshop -for middle school and high school students

Young Writers/Young Readers
Summer Enrichment Camp
Camp Dates: July 7-11 and July 14-18; We have a morning session (9am-12) OR an afternoon
(1-4pm) session.
Location: West Chester University Graduate Center
Cost: $350 for TEN days of camp; includes all supplies and camp t-shirt.
Our camp is for students who have completed 1st grade through 11th grade.
We are unable to offer sibling discounts, full day camp, or REFUNDS at this time.
PLEASE check your schedule before you register. Camp runs for 10 days.
What to expect at camp:
- Learning about the writing process in a relaxed camp environment
- Trying age-appropriate strategies & gaining confidence in your writing
- Composing, sharing, exploring multiple genres
- Editing and revising your work through peer review and instructor support
- Exploring quality children's literature
What camp is NOT:
- One on one tutoring
- A skill-and-drill setting
- Standardized test preparation
- Focused on a single genre of writing (i.e., essays for school)
