Test FAQs

• Testing accommodations are available for students whose first language is not English - please refer to PLNE (ETS) & Pearson Testing Accommodations for how to register to receive extra testing time (Note: Accommodations must be applied for well in advance before testing date).
• Because test requirements and passing scores frequently change and vary for the different certification areas, students are encouraged to contact the College of Education on a regular basis throughout the completion of their degree program. Please see the testing chart for requirements.
• Praxis II Computer-based tests (CBT) may have date restrictions.
• CBTs may be repeated after 30 days.
• There is no limit to the number of times tests can be repeated and they are good for life.
• Retake policy - check with test sponsor.
