Susan R. Fiorentino is assistant professor in the Master of Public Administration program at West Chester University. Prior to joining the faculty, Professor Fiorentino practiced law as an associate in the Media law firm of Gallagher, Schoenfeld, Surkin, Chupein & DeMis, P.C., with a practice focused on employment and labor law. From 2010-2012, she was an adjunct professor in the MPA program, where she taught courses on Employee Relations and Labor Relations. She currently maintains a consulting practice, counseling companies in all aspects of federal and state employment law, providing counseling in managing employment relationships and negotiating and drafting employment agreements (including severance, non-compete and intellectual property agreements).
Professor Fiorentino is a magna cum laude graduate of Villanova University School of Law, where she served as editor of outside articles for the Villanova Environmental Law Journal. She holds a Master's Degree from Villanova University in Political Science, and has taught in the Political Science Departments of West Chester University and Villanova University. She has lectured and written extensively on many topics in the area of Employment and Labor Law.
Professor Fiorentino is a member of the Greater Valley Forge Human Resources Association, recently serving as Co-Chair of the Legislative and Governmental Affairs Committee. She is a member of the Delaware and Chester County Bar Associations. She lives with her family in West Bradford Township, Chester County.
