Transfer Student Advising for Spring 2027 

Class registration for new incoming Spring 2027 transfer students will begin on October 23rd and run through late January in RamPortal. Your department will reach out to you to set up your advising appointment. Keep an eye on your WCU email for scheduling details. Who is my advisor and how do I schedule an appointment?

  • Your advisor's name will appear in RamPortal after your initial advising appointment.

How will my credits transfer into WCU?

  • Use the Transfer Equivalency Tool to find your previous institution and review how your courses could be transferred into WCU. The online Transfer Credit Center is a tool to help you begin to understand how your credits may transfer to WCU. This list is neither an official determination nor a guarantee of transfer credit equivalencies.  The transfer of credits is contingent upon compliance with WCU policies and procedures.

Can I switch my major after being accepted?

  • To change your major before the semester begins, you can complete a change of major request form through your admissions portal. 

Where can I find courses for my major?

Visit the Academic Catalog to explore degree requirements, course descriptions, and other academic information for your program.
