Admissions Process

The Office of Admissions at West Chester University completes a preliminary evaluation of all transfer applications on a rolling basis once all information has been received and processed. The committee prioritizes applicants with the strongest academic credentials and notifies them of a decision upon completion. Other candidates may be required to submit additional information or will be referred to the committee for a second review.

It is recommended that transfer applicants for the fall semester should complete the application process early in the preceding spring semester and that spring semester applications should be completed early in the preceding fall semester; however, certain academic programs can close earlier. If enrollment limits are met before this time, admissions will be closed.
