- Attended a 4-year college or university
- Attended WCU on a non-degree basis
- Performed military service
If you attended WCU as a degree student for at least one semester but did not register for classes for three or more consecutive semesters, you can apply as a readmit applicant.
Transfer Pathways
WCU has many pathways for transfer students to pursue including co- and dual admissions, articulation agreements, the PA Passport, and Program to Program (P2P) options. Or, check out our transfer policy.
Admissions Process
Transfer applications are evaluated on a rolling basis once all information has been received and processed. The committee prioritizes applicants with the strongest academic credentials and notifies them of a decision upon completion. Other candidates may be required to submit additional information or will be referred to the committee for a second review.
We recommend that you complete the application process early in the semester prior to enrolling (spring completion for fall enrollment, fall completion for spring enrollment). Certain academic programs may close earlier. If enrollment limits are met before this time, admissions will be closed.
The evaluation process for your application and supporting materials may take up to three weeks.
