About Ashley

• Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) with the Morris Minute Men First Aid Squad (NJ) for 4 ½ years
• Advanced to lead EMT
• Increased her ability to think and react quickly; a needed skill for a future teacher
• As lead EMT, she acquired supervisory skills that will help her with classroom management

Ashley states: "Even if community service is something as small as volunteering at the recycling center one Saturday a month or planting flowers in front of town hall, it is still making a difference in someone's life."
