In addition to winning the English Department’s Best Seminar Paper Award for her essay "I Own This Body & I Own This Revolution: The Importance of Self-Representation in the Civil Rights and Black Power Movements ," Angira also took home the prestigious College of Arts & Sciences Outstanding Student Award.
