A Message from the Office of the Provost...

Dr. Josh R. Auld serves as Acting Provost while Dr. Osgood is away on a limited time appointment as Interim President of Commonwealth University. During this interim period, Dr. Auld will lead the day-to-day operations of the Academic Affairs division and exercise direct oversight of the deans, associate provosts, and key academic leaders across the university. Josh will also serve as Interim Dean of the Honors College and represent the university at the system-level Council of Chief Academic Officers. In addition to his formal duties as Acting Provost, Josh will represent the administration across a range of shared governance and institutional forums. He will be responsible for maintaining regular engagement and productive working relationships with APSCUF, CAPC, Faculty Senate, Council of Chairs, and, through the Dean of the Graduate School, the Graduate Council. He will also convene the Faculty Shared Governance Leadership Council, represent WCU on the Pennsylvania Transfer and Articulation Oversight Committee (TAOC), and work closely with the Office of the Chancellor to ensure WCU’s academic program array is aligned with PASSHE.
