Welcome! Whether you are new to service-learning or have been teaching service-learning courses for years, we hope these resources are helpful as you navigate incorporating community-engaged learning into your classroom. The Center for Civic Engagement and Social Impact supports all West Chester University faculty members interested in teaching service-learning courses. We will meet with you individually to discuss desired outcomes and course content, connect you with local community partners, and pair you with seasoned faculty members to best support your teaching and course development.   • The Center for Civic Engagement & Social Impact is hiring!  We have many student staff positions available for students to participate in our civic leadership programming.  Ideal applicants are WCU students committed to the ideals of public service, active citizenship, and the promotion of positive social change.

    In addition to receiving on-going leadership and development training, students may be eligible to receive financial compensation to help them sustain their passion and commitment to contributing to the common good.
