Graduates of WCU’s Criminal Justice Program go on to represent WCU in a variety of criminal justice positions ranging from police officers to victim advocates.The program remains on the cutting edge of the discipline with courses taught by experienced professionals with advanced educational credentials.Experienced in corrections, courts of law, gang violence, offender rehabilitation, policing, probation & parole, and public policy, WCU faculty teach cutting edge course related to contemporary issues impacting the Criminal Justice System.

The BSW program in Philadelphia is designed for students who have completed at least 30 credits and have an overall 2.5 GPA. Courses are offered in the late afternoon and early evening, on a part-time basis. In order to complete the part-time program in fewer years, BSW students in Philadelphia can complete their junior field practicum during the summer. Students that need to complete required general education courses not offered at the Philadelphia campus can do so at community college through dual enrollment or the WCU main campus.
The BSW program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Social work graduates are prepared for entry-level generalist social work practice with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities. The Program’s mission emphasizes strengths-based practice, critical-thinking, cultural competence, and advocacy for social and economic justice.

The RN-BSN Fast Track is specially designed for licensed Registered Nurses to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. You must currently be a licensed Registered Nurse (or near graduation for an ADN program) to enroll in this program. The BSN program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) through 2019.
