Our reputation for quality teacher preparation is well known and local school districts recognize the value of a WCU Health and Physical Education degree. We have an extensive alumni network; in fact many area teachers are alumni.

Teacher candidates are immersed in local schools from the very first class. Teachers and schools are hand-selected so teacher candidates have the best experience possible.

Commitment to Self-Improvement

Good programs are never static; they continually evolve to reflect changes in the field. Recently the program added two entirely new health education field courses and an additional fitness education class.
