WCU aims to award credit for all successfully complete credits from accredited institutions.  We also have opportunities to earn credit from test scores (AP, IB, CLEP, DSST) and PLA (Prior Learning).

Transfer Tools for You!

At WCU, we want you to have access to your student information when you need it!

Transfer Credit Summary Card

In RamPortal we have developed a summary of all your transferred credit to WCU.  If you have transfer credit from multiple institutions, test credits, and/or military credit, it will all appear in one place and will continue to get updated as more transfer credit is evaluated.  More information about the Transfer Credit Summary Card.

Degree Audit

Once you are an accepted student, you have access to your Degree Audit.  However, until you have either your transfer credit posted or WCU courses registered, no requirements will be complete.  The Degree Audit is a great tool that allows you to:

  • See outstanding and completed requirements
  • Review advising notes left by your advisor or the Registrar's Office
  • Plan courses to complete your requirements in future semesters
