This non-degree program is designed for candidates who possess a bachelor’s degree and now seek PA certification. Candidates will complete coursework in areas such as assessment, educational psychology and instructional technology as well as their academic subject area. Multiple opportunities to apply gained knowledge are embedded in a variety of field experiences, including student teaching. Upon successful completion of the program, candidates may be recommended to the Pennsylvania Department of Education for subject specific certification in grades 7 – 12.
