Through visibility, outreach, programming, trainings , and community building, CTQA works collectively to create an environment where
trans and queer people feel supported and validated. The LGBTQA Advocacy Committee is comprised of faculty, staff, students, and administrators that meet on a regular
basis during the academic year to discuss campus climate issues. The committee works
closely with campus leaders to create a more inclusive campus climate for LGBTQA people.
D-CAP builds an inclusive and accepting campus community to better support the experience
and success of our degree-seeking students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through
indirect and direct support. The program offers resources, and a D-CAP calendar of events to provide information and opportunities to support our students.
Distance Education offers faculty and staff many development opportunities including
webinars, self-paced and in-person trainings, and online tutorials related to creating online course content in our online learning management system,
D2L.
Provides SAP training to campus customers through multiple channels, online documents, and ScreenCasts that
you can utilize for self-training and ongoing reference, and formal and individualized
training sessions provided by Finance and Business Services staff.
FDS promotes empowerment through education, social justice through civic engagement, and
the advancement of human rights through thoughtful public dialogue. All who are interested
in multicultural issues on campus are encouraged to join. Meetings (dates TBA) are
once a month and they normally host networking activities each semester. Other programming,
in addition to networking activities, include fundraising and campus programming.
Provides access to a library of high-quality training videos and tutorials dedicated to specific skills, subject areas, and software. Free unlimited access
for WCU faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students to thousands of up-to-date
business, creative, and technology skills training.
Office of Equal Opportunity and Compliance offers training to faculty, staff, and students of West Chester University to strengthen
understanding of diversity, inclusion, equity, and cultural competence, in addition
to ensuring compliance with university policy. Their calendar includes events from various departments on campus and is updated each semester. Their office oversees
various university commissions, committees, and councils related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
ORSP assists faculty, staff, and students who are interested in being involved in research
on campus and offer step-by-step guidance for applying for a grant, including the resource PIVOT, a comprehensive database of federal, state, and private sector funding opportunities.

The Consortium acts on behalf of all women, faculty, staff, administrators and students, within
the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. The Consortium meets with the Chancellor
regularly to identify, address, and monitor the concerns of women from across fourteen
campuses. Initiatives include an annual conference dedicated to women’s and gender
issues, and summer leadership institutes for faculty, staff and undergraduate women.
Membership in the Consortium is open to all genders, races, ethnicities, ages, and
sexual orientations.
The Commission recommends and advocates for the improvement of working conditions, climate, and
safety for women on campus. The commission is comprised of constituents across campus
