Scholarships

Scholarships are critical to the University’s ability to attract talented students and ensure access to those with financial need. In fact, nearly two thirds of WCU's students depend on financial aid to help them achieve their educational dreams.

As a result, the University is grateful to generous donors who provide scholarship funds and endowments that make student success possible. Last year, over 400 merit and need-based scholarships created and maintained through private donations generated more than $750,000 of student financial aid.

The new facility is expected to address the need for more and better designed space to enhance students’ educational experience. In addition to allowing for individual faculty offices, the top two floors will be designed to encourage faculty collaboration.

The first three floors will consist of classrooms, lecture halls, student lounges and meeting rooms with spaces that foster student-faculty interaction.
