Hand Raise for: I Want to Explore a New Major
Hand Raise Reduces Barriers to Students Asking for Help
Navigate has a new feature called "Hand Raise," which allows students to "raise their hand" or "self-alert" from the Navigate Student App on their mobile device or from their computer. We will be kicking off this new feature in the fall 2025 semester with the Hand Raise reason: I want to explore a new major.
- When a student submits a Hand Raise the request is logged with the Exploratory Studies Department.
- A staff member is notified of the Hand Raise.
- The staff member then contacts the student to provide assistance.
How Students Initiate a Hand Raise
Students can access Hand Raise from their student app on their mobile device or from their computer.
The icon associated with Hand Raise looks like a waving hand.
Getting Started:
- Students’ can login to Navigate 2 ways, either on their mobile device or on their computer at wcupa.navigate.eab.com
- Using the Mobile App - Click on the Applications Icon
Then click on the Hand Raise Icon
(Mobile App View)
Hand Raise – (Desktop View)
3. Click on the Hand Raise Icon and a list of Hand Raise Submissions will appear or
you can create a new Hand Raise.
